Red Cannon are currently recruiting on behalf of growing-business looking for a Finance Administrator Intern to join its office team.

Following significant growth, the business is strengthening its internal finance function and is looking for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience and potentially build a longer-term career with the company.

The Role

Working alongside the existing team, you''ll support the day-to-day finance administration of the business, including:

• Raising and processing invoices.
• Monitoring outstanding payments.
• Supporting credit control and contacting customers regarding overdue invoices.
• Updating finance records and internal systems.
• Responding to customer queries by phone and email.
• Providing general finance and administrative support.

Who We''re Looking For

Previous finance experience would be useful but isn''t essential. We''re looking for someone who is:

• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with numbers.
• Confident using computers and willing to learn.
• Professional and confident communicating with customers.
• Reliable, proactive and keen to develop.

Experience with Excel or finance/accounting software would be beneficial.

Where Could It Lead?

This isn''t intended to be an internship with nowhere to go afterwards.

For the right person, we-would like to explore permanent employment following the six-week placement, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities including bookkeeping, payroll, credit control and wider finance administration.

There may also be the opportunity to progress through a relevant Finance or Accounting Apprenticeship as the role develops.
