What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as a subject matter expert across multiple client portfolios
• Assess and verify the competence of Authorised Persons and recommend appointments
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk-based reviews
• Deliver high-impact technical training and fire safety coaching
• Advise on design, compliance, and fire strategies across live and planned works
• Lead incident investigations and promote continuous improvement
• Produce detailed reports for clients, regulators, and internal use

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as an Authorising Engineer (Fire)—essential
• Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g. MIET, EngTech, IFE, I.Eng, ACIBSE)
• Proven expertise in fire safety systems within critical engineering environments
• Strong report writing and training delivery capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Flexibility to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight and international work

Even Better If You Have:

• A management or H&S qualification
• Broad experience across other safety disciplines
• The confidence to present to clients, boards, or industry forums
