Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:
M4 Recruitment are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage daily operations within our warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal productivity, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and ensuring that all warehousing activities are carried out efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, results-driven, and skilled at motivating and managing a team. Your goal will be to meet and exceed daily performance targets while continuously improving operational procedures.
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (with potential for early finish on Fridays)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (subject to successful completion of probation)
Key Responsibilities:

Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and quality assurance of goods.

Monitor, measure, and report on warehouse operations and employee performance.

Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize the storage area efficiently.

Ensure the accuracy of all inbound/outbound shipments and inventory transactions.

Communicate clear expectations, provide coaching, and support employee development.

Determine staffing needs, delegate workload, and coordinate team schedules.

Maintain comprehensive records and reports to assess and forecast warehouse status.

Identify areas for operational improvement and implement innovative solutions.

Collaborate closely with the General Manager to align daily operations with business goals.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar leadership role in a warehouse environment.

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) License.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong data input, retrieval, and analytical skills.

A hands-on approach and strong commitment to achieving team goals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate warehouse operations efficiently.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
