Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant
My client is a well established nationwide business and due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team. Responsibilities will include: Assist within accounts payable, from invoice entry to statement reconciliation. Assist within accounts receivable, reconciliation of customer payments to system data investigating variances and report findings. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts in several currencies. Verifying financial documentation in connection with expense reports. Develop current reconciliation templates to streamline allocation process if required. Support with year-end financial audit Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as required. Skills and experience Previous Experience in high volume transactional entry and reconciliation Knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping.
