This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Relationship professional to advance their career and take on a role with huge scope and importance. You’ll play a key role in helping us to mature the function as you can influence the direction of policy and the way that we operate. You’ll have lots of autonomy and variety with your day-to-day work, giving you a sense of ownership, and the freedom to be curious and bring new ideas to the table.What you''ll be doing:Managing relationships with Professional Services suppliers, including actuarial and consultancy providersEnsuring full compliance to Supplier Relationship Management policy, standards, and processesImplementing the Supplier Management strategy and proposition across a portfolio of Legal and General suppliersBenchmarking new and existing services to ensure that commercial terms are appropriate and fit for purposeLiaising with senior internal stakeholders, conducting regular reviews of contract service performance and assess areas for improvementSupporting with contract negotiations and renewals for in-scope suppliersLeading dispute resolution with appropriate parties to ensure all contractual disputes are fully resolved in a timely mannerWho we''re looking for:Experienced Supplier Relationship Manager focusing on Professional ServicesProven commercial experience gained from a supplier/vendor management supply chain, category management, or business development backgroundPrior experience in monitoring vendor performance utilising internal feedbackYou’ll be proficient in SRM best practices and strategiesAbility to influence others with a collaborative, inclusive and engaging style with a practical approach to delivering successful collaborative outcomes to support evolving business needsWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
