JOB TITLE: Production Assembler EMPLOYING ENTITY: Dutypoint Limited EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent LOCATION: Gloucester HOURS OF WORK: 42.5 per week REPORTS TO: Production Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE: To efficiently assemble, test and pack a wide variety of cold water pressure boosting pumping systems and underground clean and waste water pump stations Some systems are one-off site specific designs and involve problem-solving and the ability to overcome interesting challenges. TEAM FUNCTION: To produce a wide range of high-quality, locally designed cold and waste water pumping solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical assembly and electrical control wiring of pump pressure booster systems, adhering to health and safety processes Assembly of pumps, valves and stainless steel/PVC pipework in a variety of tanks Invertor and control panel wiring, fitting out of Kiosks with electrical equipment and pump sets Manufacturer product in line with scheduled planning, ensuring issues are raised, where necessary Produce systems to the highest quality with attention to detail MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Completing the production process in timely manner and in line with schedule, following drawing/BOM''s Limited number of product failures at test stage or on site Adhering to health and safety procedures and processes, ensuring all near misses are recorded Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the production area KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Minimum 5 years experience of working with water pumping ..... full job details .....
