Job Title: Vehicle Technician (Fast Fit)Location: PortsmouthSalary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (DOE) + BonusesHours: Full-time, Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Fast Fit Technician to join our busy automotive workshop. The successful candidate will carry out a range of fast-fit services efficiently and to the highest standards, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform tyre fitting, wheel balancing, and wheel alignment.Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.Carry out battery testing and replacement, exhaust repairs, and basic suspension work.Undertake vehicle health checks and report any additional work required.Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to manufacturer standards.Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety policies.Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Skills and Experience RequiredProven experience in a fast fit, tyre, or service centre environment.NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred but not essential).Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Full UK Driving Licence.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
