This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide array of Process, Converting and Packaging equipment in a Double Day based role in the heart of Bridgwater.We are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work as part of the Engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor. This is a two shift engineering position 6am-2:15pm and 2pm-10:15 am Mon -FridayThe position will require a proactive, can do attitude.The role will include 1 Saturday Shift (7.5hrs) per Calendar Month at 1.5 times hourly overtime rateDuties include:Plan and carry out Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance on siteResolving Day to Day IssuesStock Management and Sourcing of Spare Parts as RequiredContinuous Improvement on Existing and New EquipmentBasic DIY Tasks as RequiredExperience/ Qualifications:A qualified and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with experience in the Converting and Packaging, FMCG IndustryGood engineering disciplines and controls and a good knowledge of engineering, health and safety standards, legislation and regulations.Engineering qualification - HNC / NVQKnowledge of CAD systems would be an advantageGood communication skills.Ability to make decisions using own initiative.Ability to fault find and read drawings, Electrical (PLC''s) and Mechanical (Pneumatics)Excellent problem solver who is proactive in recommending and implementing actions to solve issues and ..... full job details .....
