This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of improving ways of working in SEND within a borough with a newly-published SEND Strategy and a strong partnership approach to SEND. We are ideally looking for locums who want to work for an extended period of up to 18 months but at least 6 months and are able to commit to a normal pattern of working of at least 2 days a week. Duties and Responsibilities of a Speech And Language Therapist: Running targeted-level groups with parents and children under 5, both in children and family centres and online Writing advice for education, health and care needs assessment Delivering intervention for children under 5 with language difficultie Working alongside an expanding team of speech and language therapists and occupational therapists within the service and also work with other services including educational psychologists and Early Help professionals.
