Principal Town Planner | Leeds | PermanentAn independent national planning consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Town Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of high-profile projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, education, energy, retail, sport and leisure. They will play a key role in delivering planning advice and applications across a wide range of sectors, working with leading national clients including housebuilders, developers, universities, and sports organisations. The firm has a strong track record of securing permission for major schemes, including large-scale student accommodation developments, university campus projects, and residential communities.Ref: DB044

Responsibilities

Provide planning advice and manage planning applications across multiple sectors (residential, commercial, education, energy, retail, sport and leisure).Work with leading national clients including housebuilders, developers, universities and sports organisations.Contribute to securing planning permissions for major schemes such as large-scale student accommodation, university campus projects, and residential communities.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support delivery of planning strategies and proposals.

Qualifications

Chartered MRTPI statusRTPI accredited planning degree or equivalentStrong knowledge of the UK planning systemRelevant experience across a variety of sectorsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLine management experienceExperience in energy sector projects
