Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: -90105 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term with the potential to become permanent

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a highly regarded Primary Academy in East Bristol, part of a successful and well-established multi-academy trust, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the school''s specialist resource provision.

This rewarding role will involve supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) alongside pupils who are learning English as an Additional Language (EAL). You''ll work within a dedicated, nurturing provision designed to provide targeted support, helping pupils build confidence, develop communication skills and access learning in a calm and inclusive environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with SEN and EAL on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Deliver targeted interventions to develop communication, language and social skills.
• Help pupils access learning through tailored resources and differentiated activities.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with teachers, the SEND team and specialist staff to provide high-quality support.
• Contribute to a welcoming, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

• Has experience working with children in a school, nursery, care or similar setting.
• Has an interest in supporting pupils with SEN and EAL.
• Is patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education.
• Builds positive relationships with children and works well as part of a team.
• Has excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two recent professional references.
