Automation / Platform Engineer - SC Cleared Inside IR35 - 6 month contract - Hybrid My client is seeking to recruit an SC Cleared Automation / Platform Engineer within this role you will focus on upgrading enterprise applications across the estate and support with the design of future upgrades aligned to the growth strategy.For this role you will have hands-on experience upgrading applications across a range of technologies in Windows and Linux environments, ideally gained in other large-scale organisations. Supported by strong automation skills, you will join a team aligned to streamlining and standardise application and infrastructure upgrades. Core Activities: Plan, coordinate and deliver application upgrades, migrations and platform refresh activitiesEnsure applications remain compliant with vendor support and security requirementsAdminister applications deployed across Windows and Linux environmentsTroubleshoot application, Middleware and infrastructure issuesMaintain operational documentation and runbooksIdentify opportunities to automate manual operational processesDevelop automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible or similar toolsBuild and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelinesPromote IAC along with DevOps best practices Essential Experience: Strong experience administering enterprise applications on both Windows and LinuxExperience delivering application and platform upgrades in production environmentsExperience with Scripting and automation using PowerShell, ..... full job details .....
