What you''ll be working towards We are currently looking to engage with an experienced OCI Platform Architect for an immediate start with a large UK utilities body. This is a large scale critical infrastructure project, starting with an initial 6 month contract. About You Lead the transition of existing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including full discovery, redesign, uplift and migration. Perform comprehensive OCI estate discovery, documenting applications, networks, databases, integrations and associated technical, contractual and security dependencies. Develop and evaluate migration options, including OCI OCI, OCI Azure and hybrid pathways, with clear recommendations. Define the target-state OCI architecture, covering networking, IAM, monitoring, disaster recovery/resilience, compute and PaaS services. Demonstrate deep, hands-on expertise in OCI, including VCN design, networking, FastConnect, NSGs, compute, storage, load balancing and Exadata/DBaaS. Apply the OCI Well-Architected Framework, ensuring strong security, reliability, performance, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
