Senior Keyworker
Barnardo''s Greater Manchester Keyworking Service for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability/Autism (up to the age of 25 year) Are passionate about children and young people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism having the right support, at the right time, in the right way, to remain living where possible in the community, avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions? We have opportunities across our Greater Manchester Keyworking Service in the following teams, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham, Tameside and Stockport, and Bolton and Wigan and a peripatetic role supporting across GM. To be a successful Senior Keyworker, you will need to have the following: Significant experience in supporting children with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism and Mental Health needs. The ability to ensure the ''voice'' of the child and family is central, enabling lived experience to create change. Excellent team working skills. You will work as part of a service that covers the whole of Greater Manchester. The ability to collaborate with and confidently present information to a range of people, respectfully addressing issues on behalf of CYP and their families. Excellent communication skills, enabling communication with children, young people, families and professionals. Robust safeguarding knowledge and good recording skills.
