Job Role: Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)Salary: From 38k (DOE)Hours: Monday - Friday, Days (No Nights)Location: DumfriesHRGO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for our client who has a Manufacturing and Distribution facility in Dumfries.Position Overview:The company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit engineering team.It is essential candidates have industrial experience for this role as it involves working in a fast-paced industrial environment, focusing on maintaining and servicing large industrial machinery, along with general building maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a collection of industrial machinery.Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioningSupport inventory management by monitoring spare parts and supplies for maintenance activities.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with production needs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance work.Perform general building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work. Qualifications:Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671) would be advantageous, but not essential.Minimum of 1 year of experience within an industrial environment.
