- Location: Welwyn Garden City, Herts
- Salary: £26,000 per annum +up-to £2,000 discretionary annual bonus (paid quarterly) after first 12 months
- Contract: Permanent, Full-time / Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

join their team as a Utility Procurement Analyst.
Overview:
We’re looking for a Utility Procurement Analyst to join our client utilities team and become a UK energy market expert.
If you’re someone who enjoys working with numbers, analysing data, thrives under pressure, can build strong supplier relationships
and detail-focused, then this could be your perfect next step.
Job Duties:
Prepare and submit tenders to energy suppliers.
Analyse consumption data and bespoke energy quotes using Excel.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive contracts.
Present tender outcomes to account managers.
Review and verify contracts before final acceptance.
Maintain our contract database accurately at all times.
Monitor market trends and developments.
Prepare reports and energy information for our business and customers.
Support the Utilities Procurement Manager with ad-hoc projects.
Skills:
Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.
Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Confidence to build professional relationships and challenge when needed.
A proactive, “can-do” mindset and hunger to learn.
Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Strong Excel skills.
