Working within a small but busy team, the successful candidates will be operating, setting and programming specialist CNC machines to produce moulds and patterns to be used to manufacture carbon composite parts. Having worked as a CNC Machinist within the automotive sector would be preferred but is not essential.The RoleAs a CNC Machinist a typical day will be the following Set and operate 5 Axis Machines being 2 CMS ARES and 1 CMS ARES machinesDownload Programmes Work form technical drawings produced by Powermill, and follow specific job cards to ensure accurate manufacture.Working to tight technical specificationsPerforming quality checks on manufactured componentsSkills and attributesTo be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have the following Be an experienced CNC Machinist who can set and operate and perform basic programme downloadsHas ideally worked as a CNC Machinist with the Automotive sectorFamiliar with CMS ARES Machines would be advantageousPrevious experience with CMS Fanuc controls would be preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team ..... full job details .....
