Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join its Engineering team on a permanent basis, with flexible and hybrid working available. The role will support the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing practical, sustainable and resilient civil engineering solutions for communities and the environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead civil design activities and technical work packages in line with agreed standards, budgets and programmesDevelop civil engineering designs, calculations, layouts, specifications and technical documentation for water and wastewater projectsDesign infrastructure including reinforced concrete structures, buried structures, drainage systems, pipelines, earthworks, highways and site development worksProduce cost-effective and buildable solutions that consider safety, sustainability, constructability, operational requirements and whole-life costsReview and assure civil design outputs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, company and industry standardsCoordinate civil design activities with Process, Mechanical, EICA, Structural, Digital and Commissioning teamsIdentify and manage technical risks, design issues and opportunities for optimisation throughout the project lifecycleBuild effective relationships with clients, discipline leads, project teams, suppliers and site teamsMentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices, supporting technical development across the teamJob Requirements:Strong ..... full job details .....
