Job Title: - Finance Officer

Base Location: SG1 2FQ, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, UK

Job type: - 3 month

Salary: PAYE - -16.35/hour

Role Purpose
Provide specialist administrative and business support to help the team deliver services effectively. Use knowledge of systems, processes, and data to solve problems, produce reports, and support colleagues and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality administrative support using established processes and systems.
• Analyse data and produce reports to support decision-making.
• Prepare documents, presentations, and correspondence.
• Support and advise colleagues on administrative procedures and systems.
• Build positive relationships with internal teams and external contacts.
• Monitor and process financial information where required.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and ways of working.
• Help prioritise workloads and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
• Strong understanding of office systems, processes, and procedures.
• Good data analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Experience supporting or guiding colleagues is desirable.

Reporting To

Business Support Team Leader / Service Manager

Level 8 roles require a good understanding of administrative processes, the ability to analyse information, and the confidence to provide advice and support to colleagues and customers.
