Commercial Finance Analyst
Robert Half is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join The Wave, the UK''s first inland surf destination on the edge of Bristol. This newly created role is the first dedicated analytical seat in the business, working directly with the CFO and Heads of Department to get ahead of the numbers rather than reading them after the fact. It is a hands-on, commercial role rather than a technical accounting one, and there is no chartered requirement. Role Run monthly business reviews with Heads of Department across Surf, Food and Beverage, Retail, Accommodation, Camps and Events Own variance reporting, KPI packs and written commentary on what has moved and why Lead the annual budget process and own the rolling forecast, including trading, seasonality and capital timing Analyse pricing, yield and capacity, including lake mix design and occupancy Redesign and automate daily flash reporting, replacing the current manual process As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be the primary finance user of a new data platform and a strong voice in how reporting is designed. Profile Two to five years in commercial finance, FPandA, business analysis or a similar analytical role Demonstrable experience of budgeting and forecasting, not just reporting the result Advanced Excel skills, building models rather than maintaining someone else''s Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Confident presenting and defending analysis in a room, including when ..... full job details .....
