Key Responsibilities of an HLTA: Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Lead small-group or whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher. Support effective preparation for KS2 SATs through targeted intervention. Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour. Support pupils'' social, emotional and personal development. Communicate effectively with parents and carers when required.
