The school offers provision from Key Stage 2 through to Post-16 and provides an individualised, therapeutic environment for pupils with complex needs.The school are seeking a committed and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the school''s multi-disciplinary therapy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development, independence and wellbeing of students across the school.Main Purpose of the RoleTo work as a senior/specialist Occupational Therapist as part of the therapy team.To provide high-quality assessment, intervention and treatment planning for students with a range of complex needs including Autism, sensory processing difficulties, SEMH needs and ADHD.To offer advice, guidance and training to staff, parents and external professionals.To contribute to the ongoing development and integration of Occupational Therapy within the school.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage an independent caseload of students with complex and varied needs.Carry out detailed Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualised therapy plans in line with EHCP requirements.Deliver direct interventions and create structured programmes for implementation by school staff.Assess and ..... full job details .....
