Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Seaforth L21
Salary: -37,000 per year
Shifts: 5 days out of 7 (included weekends)
Hours: 7/20 shift rota

The Opportunity

A leading global logistics and warehousing organisation is looking for an experienced-Warehouse Team Leader-to join its operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to play a key role in overseeing warehouse activities, driving performance, and ensuring exceptional service levels for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives.
• Allocate workloads and monitor daily performance against operational targets.
• Oversee goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing, and stock control activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Deliver team briefings and provide ongoing coaching and training.
• Monitor productivity and quality standards, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with staffing levels, attendance management, and performance reviews.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records.
• Support management in achieving service, cost, and efficiency objectives.

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Warehouse Operative position.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
