Senior Architectural Technologist

Salary: -45-52,000

A well-established and growing architectural practice in London is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to take a lead role in the technical delivery of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee projects from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, translating design concepts into fully coordinated, buildable solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the technical development and delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 to completion
* Prepare and manage detailed technical drawing packages, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction information
* Coordinate technical design with internal teams and external consultants
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
* Ensure all technical documentation complies with current Building Regulations, housing standards, and warranty requirements
* Apply technical expertise to produce practical, compliant, and well-coordinated designs

Essential Qualifications and Experience

* Architectural Technology degree, or an HND/HNC
* Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects, ideally in residential or mixed-use developments
* High proficiency in Revit
* Strong knowledge of current UK Building Regulations
* Experience leading project teams and liaising closely with clients, consultants, and contractors
* Skilled in producing detailed working drawing packages and coordinating technical information effectively
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to take initiative independently
* Extensive experience on projects typically valued at -5m or above
* Demonstrated delivery across RIBA Stages 4, 5, and 6, particularly within residential and commercial sectors
* Advanced technical detailing skills with a thorough understanding of modern construction methods
