Payroll & HR Business Partner

We are looking to appoint a highly experienced Data Analyst to join us as a UK Payroll and HR Business Partner supporting both departments by collecting, organising, and interpreting workforce data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions for workforce planning, budgeting, and operational efficiency.You will possess strong skills in utilising internal and external data to report on workforce metrics for budgeting and workforce purposes.Part of the role involves producing regular, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc workforce reports for HR and Finance teams in line with internal and external reporting requirements and adhering to set timescales.You will effectively communicate data findings to Senior Managers and the wider Stadler Group, working closely with the Payroll Manager to support inter-departmental data exchange and collaboration.You will also assist with payroll and expense processing across our UK sites in a time-sensitive manner, engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels.The role can be based at either our Liverpool or Newcastle depot. Given the UK scope, travel to sites is expected regularly; applicants must be flexible to travel as needed. The role qualifies for our flexi scheme and hybrid working, with the option to work from home 2 days per week. It is a 36-hour contract, Monday to Friday.The Payroll and HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing payroll and pensions processing administrative support, ensuring data is accurately entered into the system for payroll cutoff.You will be involved in extracting data from systems including iTrent, Business Objects, and Calitime for payroll processing and reporting.Evaluating and interpreting data using software such as Excel and Power BI will be a key element of the role.You will use complex data findings to present information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaborating with Managers, HR, and Finance, you will understand the reporting needs of each stakeholder and contribute ideas for analysis, reports, and visuals.This role also involves helping to drive informed decision-making by identifying trends, working with managers to find root causes of issues, and assisting in developing effective solutions for the organisation.
