Our client, based in the South London, are looking for a Service Manager to work within the Family Support and Child Protection team.Position: Service Manger - Family Support and Child Protection Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella) Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension Essentials: - Confident, experienced Service Manager with at least 5 years experience- Enhanced DBS required for this position- Registered with SWE - Recognised Social Work QualificationPurpose: Working in a multi agency to ensure safe and excellent delivery within children''s services. Supporting with current and future strategies, in accordance with statutory framework and government policy. Job Responsibilities: Leadership of day to day business within the service area and promoting children''s best interest. Understanding of of government and council policies, legislation, and procedures. Budget and expenditure management in line with finance regulations. Multi agency working, to ensure service relationships are maintained between Council departments, such as Education and Housing. Leading on project management within Childrens Social Care, Schools, Statutory and Voluntary Agencies.
