Sheffield Day Services support people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and autism. We aim to enhance the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service. We focus on demonstrating outcomes and value through our activities. You will provide specialist nursing support within Learning Disability Day Services, ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of people with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Your Day-to-Day • Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations • Promote best practice in the management of long-term health conditions, epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes, PEG feeding, medication management, and other complex healthcare needs. • Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with ..... full job details .....
