Academics are working in partnership with a fantastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the East Birmingham area who are seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis until July 2026.This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, while being part of a warm, supportive school community.As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:Teach and nurture a small class of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs.Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to learning.Use a range of communication and sensory strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC) to support engagement and progress.Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.Academics are looking for someone who:Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.Has experience teaching children with SEN, ideally within a special school or mainstream inclusion setting.Demonstrates creativity, patience, and resilience in supporting diverse learning needs.Works collaboratively with colleagues and families to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.Is ..... full job details .....
