Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of the largest privately owned main contractors in the UK on an exciting project in Devizes. The business operates nationally and undertakes projects across a range of sectors including defence, education, healthcare, MOJ and commercial valuing anywhere from -30mil - -200mil.

They are currently undertaking a large scale project in Devizes and are now looking for additional commercial resource.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the project team procuring and managing various packages of works, reporting into the Commercial Lead.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Devizes
