Astute''s Renewables Team is partnering with a leading global EPC contractor within the renewable energy sector to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor for its large-scale solar farm in Cressing, Braintree, Essex.The strategically important Health and Safety Advisor role comes with a salary of 40,000 to 45,000, plus a 10% pension, private healthcare and life insurance.If you''re a Health and Safety Advisor looking to work for an organisation with a strong presence in the renewables industry and a commitment to safety, sustainability and professional development, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Health and Safety Advisor roleReporting to the HSE Site Supervisor, you will:Assist with site setup and establishment in accordance with CDM requirements and welfare regulations.Help ensure the Construction Phase Plan, Integrated Management System and contractual health and safety requirements are effectively implemented across the project.Monitor direct and subcontractor activities to ensure safe systems of work are followed.Deputise for the HSE Site Supervisor during periods of absence.Investigate and report accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Provide health, safety and environmental (HSE) support and advice to the EPC project team.Conduct site HSE audits and inspections, analyse findings and work with site teams to close out nonconformities.Assist in ..... full job details .....
