Your new companyA leading engineering and construction business is seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its established commercial team in the West Midlands. Working on major building projects, you will focus on the delivery of complex MEP packages within large-scale developments. These projects involve significant subcontractor engagement and multiple package interfaces, offering an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes within a collaborative and supportive environment.Your new roleAs a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of MEP works from procurement through to final account. You will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure the successful commercial delivery of projects.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the full commercial lifecycle of MEP packages.Leading subcontractor procurement, including tender preparation, analysis and negotiation.Administering NEC contracts and contractual processes.Producing and managing cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.Managing valuations, variations and change control.Assessing and mitigating commercial risks while identifying opportunities for value creation.Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts.Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, site teams and subcontractors.Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.Providing guidance and mentorship ..... full job details .....
