Applicants must have the right to work within UK (no sponsorship available)The Developer Experience team is responsible for building the developer portal platform and providing a center of excellence for all product teams within Sage. The Full Stack Developer joining this growing team will be responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining this platform.Key Responsibilities

Possess and apply knowledge of software development to the completion of assignments.Successfully develop, deliver maintain high quality software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)Work with architects and senior developers on the team.Keep up to date with relevant technology areas.Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingEvaluate progress and results and recommends limited changes in procedures.Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitmentsMentor and coach graduate members of the development team.Show commitment to team success and positive team dynamicsDemonstrate a passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customersDemonstrate experience of Agile DevelopmentMaintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.Ensure all tasks are completed to the required quality standards.Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools and techniquesProvide 3rd tier support and/or expertise for the area of responsibilityMust-Have Skills

Use of GitHub for source controlSome exposure to AWS services such as S3/ and DynamoDB.Understanding of APIs – REST and GraphQLDesired Skills and Experience

Some exposure to: Nextjs, tailwind, Github actions, Docker, AWS CDK and StorybookSome experience of working with languages such as Python, C#, Ruby and Java or writing VSCode or Visual Studio extensions would also be an advantage.Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the Manchester office)Eligibility: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
