Hays are supporting a well-established business in Newport to recruit a permanent Product Owner. The role is hybrid working (2 days on site per week) and the salary range between c£50,000 - c£60,000. In the role, you''ll work in an Agile team supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement across the internal specialist application stack within the organisation. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport strategic planning and translate business needs into prioritised product backlogs.Engage stakeholders across all levels to define requirements and ensure alignment with organisational goals.Manage stakeholder communications and maintain transparency throughout delivery.Prioritise initiatives based on business value and define MVPs to maximise impact.Promote Agile principles, coach teams, and ensure governance and delivery standards are met.Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to internal and external forums.Lead benefit tracking, deployment decisions, and backlog management using tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.Participate in Scrum ceremonies and support issue resolution to meet sprint commitments.Key RequirementsSCRUM Certified Product Owner5+ years in an application product-based environmentExperience working in agile teamsExperience developing and managing requirements and product backlogsUnderstanding of enterprise application technologies and roadmapsExperience resolving complex and conflicting business prioritiesBusiness Analysis ..... full job details .....
