Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)£ A nurturing primary school inandnbsp;Maidenheadandnbsp;is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join their team fromandnbsp;6th October.

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with significant physical, medical, and cognitive needs
• Assisting with personal care, feeding, and mobility in a respectful and dignified way
• Using sensory tools, visual aids, and communication systems such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC to enhance engagement
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to implement and review individual learning plans
• Creating a calm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence and positive behaviour

Weandrsquo;re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience supporting children or young people with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs (in education or care settings)
• Is empathetic, flexible, and committed to inclusive practice
• Communicates effectively and thrives in a multidisciplinary team
• Is confident using assistive technology and sensory resources
• Is open to ongoing training, including manual handling and medical procedures
