Electrical Site Manager Prison Project Location: East London Rate: £38.00 per hour Contract: Long-term-12 months Sector: Building Services / MEP / Construction Project: New Build and Refurbishment Prison MUST Have relevant JIB card, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and EL1 Prison Clearance The Opportunity We are working with a leading MEP contractor delivering a major new-build and refurbishment prison project in East London, who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join the project team. This is a long-term contract opportunity working on a complex MEP project, overseeing the delivery of electrical services and managing subcontractors, site teams and project stakeholders. Previous prison experience is not essential. Candidates with strong electrical site management experience across commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial or other complex construction projects will be considered. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee electrical installation works across the project. Coordinate electrical subcontractors, engineers and site operatives. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, construction and other MEP disciplines. Carry out regular site inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship.
