We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef De Partie to support the rest of the Fold team as we continue to grow.Fold is a neighbourhood Bistro and Bottle Shop with community at its heart. A menu of delicious British seasonal sharing plates, with multi-cultural influences and a touch of North West nostalgia throughout.Our drinks list includes carefully curated natural, organic, and classic wines from our favourite producers, as well as the best beers and hand-crafted cocktails to enjoy in the bistro at the bar or to go.We work with a seasonal and sustainable approach, sourcing all our ingredients locally where possible, to create an experience that is not only memorable, but supports the great producers around us too!What are the key responsibilities of a Chef de Partie?- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation- Assist with ordering supplies to stock inventory appropriately- Comply with all sanitation regulations and safety standards- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customersWhat skills are required for the Chef de Partie Role?- 1-2 Years Experience in a busy high profile kitchen- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy- Someone who works efficiently and has a can do attitude- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment- Have a genuine passion for food and beverages including the understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures- Familiar with industry best practices- Flexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts when required-This role offers a competitive salary with a 40hr working week and a healthy Tronc Scheme.The role is based at Fold Bistro and Bottle Shop in Marple Bridge.If this interests you and you''d like to be part of our dynamic and exciting team, please email your CV across to us.TPBN1_UKCT
