MMB has extended its contract with Thames Water for an additional five years, carrying the current agreement through to March 2030. Thames Water serves 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley. MMB is delivering work on three frameworks in the region, undertaking a varied programme of water and wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects to improve the network.
With sites located across the Thames Valley region including; Aylesbury, Banbury, and Reading.As a Contracts Manager
you will be responsible for a portfolio of schemes that enhance our environment and communities — from improving flood defences, to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity. Our Contract Managers are effective communicators, motivators and leaders, with a wealth of technical knowledge, and full ownership of the process from inception to handover.What you’ll do
Instilling the company culture and driving consistency across a number of schemes for the organisationLeading a team of site managers to ensure successful execution of the programmeImproving awareness, compliance and performance with company standards and processesFacilitating the growth and development of the teamOverall responsibility for commercial and programme delivery whilst ensuring client satisfactionWhat you’ll need
CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTSHNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceUnderstand civil engineering principles and practicesKnowledge of NEC3 or 4Excellent organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersA valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational regionWhat’s in it for you
