Our client is a Working Farm based on a Historic Estate based in East Leeds. They boast some of the rarest breeds in Europe, and they require a Farm Worker to join this very Historical site. This is a Council owned property.The role will be running through till the end of May 2026 and does have the chance to extend. The hourly rate is 13.69 per hour. Working 5 days per week, 7.5 hours a day. The main purpose of the role is to:To provide temporary farmworker cover to the client , including animal husbandry and forage crop production to a high standard. This will include the use of plant and equipment to undertake farm operations. The post-holder will be expected to facilitate work experience involvement to the college-supervised further education students based on site. This post is designed to cover a temporary shortfall in the workforce due to review and on-going recruitment. You will be providing the best care to farm animals by undertaking routine checking, feeding and medication Cleaning of animal enclosures, pens, buildings and public access areas using machinery and / or manually as instructed Undertake the movement of livestock.
