OverviewDartmouth Partners has the pleasure of working with a small Infrastructure Investment firm to hire a CFO. The CFO will play a key leadership role, overseeing all financial aspects of the company and providing strategic financial input to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a balance of high-level financial strategy, hands-on financial management, and the ability to operate effectively in a small, dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.

Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term strategic plans and business objectives.

Lead financial planning and analysis (FPandA), including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing strategies to support project execution and business growth.

Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Manage payroll, procurement, and vendor payments in coordination with operations.

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

ACA, CA, or CFA preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 8 years of financial leadership experience, ideally within infrastructure investments

Experience working in a small to mid-sized firm, with a willingness to be hands-on

Proficiency with financial software
