About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant in North Bristol, you will:

Support pupils in Early Years with Autism, providing individualised support.

Implement tailored strategies to develop communication, sensory regulation, and classroom engagement.

Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent, child-centred support.

Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a Teaching Assistant in North Bristol who has:

Experience working with young children with Autism, ideally in an Early Years or nursery setting.

A patient, creative, and nurturing approach to supporting children with SEND.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
