As a Van Driver for our client, you will carry out deliveries on behalf of the company in a safe, timely and efficient manner as required by the business. As a representative of the company, you will be required to possess a positive, can-do attitude and build good working relationships with both customers and the inhouse team. Driver responsibilities • To conduct daily vehicle checks. • To ensure your vehicle is loaded with the correct product and that the load is restrained/strapped and safe to drive. • To deliver the goods in order where needed app and complete delivery confirmations • To always maintain contact with customers regarding delivery time. • To report any issues on site back to the branch. • To drive in accordance with the law, our Transport Policies and Procedures and current legislation. • To ensure all work is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Company. HSandE • To work in accordance with environmental and health and safety regulations, and ensure the Health and Safety of all staff, including reporting environmental and health and safety, near misses and accidents. • To comply with the Company Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Policies and objectives in every aspect of own work.
