Operating to ISO 13485 within a BSL-2 lab environment, the team blends Engineering and biology to deliver rapid, accurate, life-changing diagnostic technology. The opportunity As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, assemble, and optimise complex medical device prototypes and instruments used across RandD. You ll collaborate with engineers and scientists, own small technical projects, and uphold best practice documentation in a regulated setting. What you ll do Diagnose and resolve issues on complex electromechanical instrumentation in a BSL-2 laboratory. Run tests using control software and workshop tools to support ongoing product development and verification. Assemble and maintain RandD devices, rigs, and fixtures covering microfluidics, pneumatics, sensors, motion/temperature control, and fluid handling. Contribute technically across multi-disciplinary teams (Engineering, Medtech, Diagnostics, Biology).
