Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: upto -50,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Pattern: 3 on, 3 off, nights 5pm-5am

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).
• Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.

Desirable Skills:

• PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).
• Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations.
