NEW JOB VACANCY IN LETCHWORTH - PRESS BRAKE SETTER OPERATORAre you an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator who has worked on Trumpf machines, and are you looking for a permanent job in the Letchworth area?!We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator to join a leading sheet metal manufacturing business in Stevenage, the standard working hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with overtime opportunities available which are paid at T1/2, the annual salary will be range between £37,500 - £42,500 per annum (hourly rate of £18.00 - £20.50 per hour) DOE.Whilst the hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked on a Trumpf machine, they will consider people who have worked on other Press Brakes (Amada, Edward Pearson etc) providing you have the right level of experience.What You Will Do: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal components, with a focus on stainless steel and aluminium.Adjust ram and back gauge positions accurately using process control instructions, PDF work packs, and models.Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications to meet required tolerances.Inspect finished parts using micrometres, callipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools, then make necessary adjustments.Perform basic maintenance and cleaning to support smooth, reliable machine operation.Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area while working effectively with the ..... full job details .....
