Milling to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist with strong Heidenhain programming, setting and operating experience, particularly those with a background in machining medium to large fabrications and castings.The Role You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating universal bed-type milling machines using a Heidenhain control system. The successful candidate will have solid experience with 3 and 4-axis machining and be confident working with a variety of materials, including: Stainless steelAluminiumMild steelCast iron You will also need previous experience machining medium to large fabrications and castings.About You The ideal candidate will have: Time-served apprenticeship or extensive relevant machining experienceStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience producing precision components to high standardsGood knowledge of work-holding methods and toolingUnderstanding of cutting parameters and machining processesExperience programming directly on Heidenhain control systemsExperience working with universal milling headsAbility to carry out your own inspection and work to tight tolerancesExperience ..... full job details .....
