This role is ideal for an electrically biased engineer with a strong mechanical background, experienced in installing, servicing, and maintaining food processing machinery.Key Responsibilities: Installation and Commissioning: Setting up new processing lines and ensuring they are fully operational, including configuring electrical and mechanical components.Breakdowns and Repairs: Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime for customers.Routine Servicing and Maintenance: Conducting planned maintenance on a range of food processing equipment, ensuring longevity and optimal performance.Electrical Work: Installing and troubleshooting electrical systems, including wiring, reading electrical diagrams, and working with 3-phase (415V) machinery.PLC Fault Finding and Networking: Identifying faults in PLC-controlled systems and ensuring seamless integration with other equipment.Mechanical Work: Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, motors, shafts, pulleys, and gearboxes.Customer Support: Providing technical advice and assistance to clients ..... full job details .....
