This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced caretaker or facilities operative to join the Community Facilities and Resources Team. The Role:You will be responsible for ensuring council premises are maintained to a high standard, supporting building users, carrying out general caretaking duties, and ensuring the facility is safe, clean and ready for use. Key Duties Include:Carrying out general caretaking and basic maintenance tasksSetting up and dismantling equipment for events and room bookingsCompleting cleaning duties across the facility, including toilets, kitchens and communal areasActing as a key holder and supporting building securityCarrying out health and safety checks and reporting any issuesMaintaining outdoor areas, including car parks and general surroundingsProviding excellent customer service to facility users and members of the public Essential Criteria:Previous caretaking, facilities, cleaning or maintenance experienceExperience in areas such as cleaning, minor repairs, security, equipment setup or similarKnowledge of health and safety proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licence and access to transport desirable Working Hours:37 hours per weekEarly and late shifts on alternate ..... full job details .....
