VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

My client is looking for an experienced Technician or Diagnostic Technician or MOT Tester or EV Technician or a Technician who has all of the above, -for their prestigious workshop.

Location Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: -Beeston / Nottingham-

Salary of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: -Up to -45,000pa Depending on skills and experience-

My client, a busy and ever growing prestigious workshop and prestigious car centre are looking for a smart and forward thinking technician to join their site near Beeston Nottingham.

You will be working for a company that have a vast amount of experience within the industry and have an excellent selection of cars. -They are all about keeping customers happy by offering excellent personal service.-

As the Vehicle Service Technician you will take great pride in ensuring the vehicles are presented in the best possible light to reflect the excellent site and vehicles on offer. -They are looking for someone who is either a Diagnostic Specialist, MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician or perhaps you have a bit of everything to offer.

The Duties of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician:

• Carry out routine service works as per given guidelines
• Provide regular work status updates
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others
• Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out
• Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI''s, service reports) in line with HSO, warranty and company requirements
• Accurately complete job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed

The Ideal Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician:

• A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) or time served
• A qualified diagnostic technician would be an advantage, preferably multi-brand
• A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in the workshop the highest standard of care
• EV / Hybrid Experience would be an advantage
• MOT Testing experience would be an advantage
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly
• A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best
• Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role
• Good communication skills
• Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality
• Full UK Driving Licence
