Arrival Support Assistant

Location: Central Liverpool
Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour
Hours of Work: Saturday and Sunday only. Varied shifts depending on location – examples include 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00, and 12:00–20:00.
Contract Duration: Temporary, starting 5th – 20th September

We are seeking several Temporary Arrival Support Assistants to help our client during the busy September student move-in period. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll play a key part in creating a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for new students.

Purpose of the Role
As an Arrival Support Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that greets students, helps with luggage, provides parking guidance, and acts as a visible point of support throughout the check-in process. You’ll also work closely with reception, maintenance, and student support teams to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

 Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet students on arrival.
• Support with carrying luggage to rooms as required.
• Provide assistance with parking duties when needed.
• Act as a visible and approachable point of contact during move-in.
• Liaise with reception, maintenance, student support, or safety teams when needed.
  
  

• Friendly, approachable, and well-organised.
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of arrivals.
• Strong communication skills and good local knowledge.
• Able to signpost students to relevant support services when required.
