We actively support a range of schools across the area with absences on both a daily and long-term basis, with the option for flexible and on the day roles.As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent or during PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. You will support with the completion of pre-planned work across all year groups and across different subjects depending on school need.This is an ideal role for somebody with experience of working with young people and looking to take their next step in their career or an ECT looking to gain further classroom experience.Key responsibilities:Supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and 4) in the absence of subject teachersSupervise the completion of pre-planned lesson materials and ensure students remain on taskPromote positive behaviourSupport students with their learningTake accurate registers and report concerns to relevant staffAssist with general school duties as requiredAdhere to school policies and procedurePerson specification:Confident classroom presenceFlexible and adaptableReliable and punctual with a professional ..... full job details .....
